This NeuroTechnology Center symposium was hosted via Zoom from Columbia University, on December 4, 2023.
The symposium featured talks from leading investigators working at the crossroads of dendritic and circuit function, with emphasis on the mammalian cerebral cortex. With this meeting we aimed to help accelerate cross pollination between these two fields of neuroscience as it is our strong belief that the function of dendrites is likely key to understanding how neuronal circuits work, and that neuronal cell types hold a new angle to explore this question with unprecedented specificity.
